Description:

AusAID, the Australian Agency for International Development, manages the Australian Government’s official overseas aid program. AusAID assists developing countries to reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development, in line with Australia’s national interest. AusAID is seeking a contractor to undertake the following development program in Indonesia. POVERTY REDUCTION SUPPORT FACILITY (PRSF) The Poverty Reduction Support Facility (the Facility) aims to support the National Team for Accelerating Poverty Reduction (Tim Nasional Percepatan Penanggulangan Kemiskinan) and assist the Government of Indonesia achieve its poverty reduction target of 8-10 percent by 2014. Support will include providing the National Team with qualified consultants and assistance to support its analytical and policy functions. The Contractor will primarily play a human resources and logistics support role but will also be required to have technical expertise in the areas of monitoring and evaluation and activity management. AusAID has established an “interim facility” which is currently in place assisting the National Team with office setup and provision of initial staffing resources, until the Facility can be mobilised. It is anticipated that the project will commence in April 2011 and continue over four (4) years. Selection will be on a one step basis.
