Request for Tender - Event Management Services
Austrade is seeking the services of a well-established Event Management company to plan and deliver the Australian Export Awards National Awards Ceremony within the allocated budget. The Australian Export Awards is a prestigious awards program, in its 52nd year in 2014, designed to recognise international business achievement by Australian companies. The successful Tenderer will provide comprehensive event management services that shall broadly include management of theme development, technological equipment and services and event coordination (the Services).
The event is attended by approximately 500 individuals including Ministerial representation, approximately 90 finalists, government officials, sponsors and senior business executives. The National Awards Ceremony is held in a different state each year. In 2014 the dinner will be held in Sydney in late November.
The Conditions for Participation are that the Tenderer and its subcontractors:
- must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth);
- must not be bankrupt or insolvent;
- must not be named on the list of persons and entities designated as terrorists under the Charter of United Nations (Anti-Terrorism Measures) Regulations 2001.
It is anticipated that the services will commence in mid July 2014.
