Defence Science & Technology Group Graduate Program in Scientific Leadership (GPSL)

The Defence Science and Technology Group (DST Group) is a national leader in safeguarding Australia by delivering valued scientific advice and innovative solutions for Defence and national security. DST Group's core roles are centred around providing expert and impartial advice and support for the conduct of operations, for the current force and acquisition of future Defence capabilities. It is part of the Australian Department of Defence.
Since 1996 DST Group has addressd these mission-specific development needs through an in-house Graduate Program in Scientific Leadership, which leads to a graduate certificate awarded by a University partner.
The Commonwealth will exclude a tender from further consideration if the Commonwealth considers that the tenderer does not comply with:
- the tender response, including all attachments, annexes and supporting documentation, being written in English;
- the requirement for all measurements in tenders being expressed in Australian legal units of measurement unless otherwise specified;
- the Commonwealth's security requirements set out at clause 2.5 to the Conditions of Tender;
- the Essential Requirements as specified in the Conditions of Tender, Clause 3.1.2a
DST Group intends that participants should complete a GPSL Program within twelve to eighteen momths.
