Industry Briefing Sessions Estate Works Program
The Department of Defence, Directorate of Estate Works Program Office (DEWPO) delivers an annual Estate Works Program (EWP) of building, infrastructure and maintenance related projects at Defence sites across Australia (including major bases, minor sites, training areas and leased facilities).
Projects range from small to medium value, simple to complex, single to multi-site, delivered across a regional, State or national basis.
Projects are delivered on existing or greenfield sites and may include design services, construction works, civil works, environmental and heritage management works, remediation works (e.g. asbestos, contamination), and consultancies.
Industry briefing sessions will be provided over the period 12 November – 22 November 2018 to provide industry with an overview of the industry engagement process for EWP projects and an indication of upcoming work within each region. Each briefing session will be in two parts and will cover the following:
Part 1
- An overview of the EWP procurement process;
- Commonwealth policy and tendering requirements;
- How industry can keep informed regarding EWP opportunities; and
- An overview, by region, of upcoming opportunities
Part 2
- Guidance on how to respond to a tender opportunity
Industry Briefings will be held at various public locations around Australia. For Industry Briefing details including Date, Location and Time, please download the attached document. There is no need to pre-register.
Note that projects delivered under the Estate Works Program must comply with the Commonwealth Indigenous Procurement Policy and Building Code 2016.
Please note that attendees at any session will be required to register their attendance upon arrival.
