Department of Veterans' Affairs - Supply of Low Vision Aids and Appliances (Non-Optical) and Associated Services
The Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) funds a range of low vision (non-optical) products under the Rehabilitation Appliances Program (RAP) as listed in the RAP National Schedule of Equipment.
This RFT seeks to establish a Standing Offer Panel comprising suitable organisations to provide low vision aids and appliances (non-optical) services to entitled persons throughout Australia, including those who reside in major cities, inner and outer regional areas, and remote or very remote areas.
DVA encourages tenders from suitable organisations that have the capability to supply the specified services including both Daily Living Aids and Appliances (DLA) and Adaptive Technology Equipment (ATE) to entitled persons throughout Australia. Through the RFT, DVA intends to engage suitably experienced and qualified organisations from the private, public and not-for-profit sectors across Australia.
DVA currently has contracts with low vision organisations across Australia that are due to expire on 30 June 2019. To ensure continuity of services and allow new and existing providers DVA will enter into Agreements from 1 July 2019.
Note: Tenderers should ensure all tender documentation is uploaded to the correct AusTender ATM ID.
