Establishment of a Whole-of-Australian-Government Telecommunications Services Panel (TSP)

The Commonwealth of Australia is seeking to establish a Whole-of-Australian-Government Telecommunications Services Panel (TSP). This coordinated procurement arrangement will establish a mechanism to procure mandated internet based network connection services and optional telecommunication network services.
The goal of this procurement is to establish a TSP that continues to deliver a competitive means to procure telecommunication services and convey continued savings to the Australian Government. Specifically the objectives of the TSP are to reduce the price of supply to entities; continue to meet the business needs of entities; contribute to a competitive and viable industry; establish fair, equitable and transparent processes; and optimise government savings.
The Telecommunications Services Panel will be established for an initial period to 30 November 2020, with further options for the Department of Finance to extend the panel for three (3) further periods of up to 12 months each.
