Geoscience Australia invites the provision of specialist magnetotelluric acquisition, processing, modelling, inverting, quality controlling or services to deliver a range of magnetotelluric services to Geoscience Australia.

Geoscience Australia is issuing this RFT to establish a panel that provides Acquisition, Processing and Supply of Magnetotelluric (MT) Data.

The Commonwealth of Australia, represented by Geoscience Australia (GA), invites tenders for the Acquisition and Supply of Magnetotelluric Data funded by Commonwealth and State/NT Government Departments.

From time to time funding is expected to become available to be used to apply the latest developments in magnetotelluric methods and surveying.  These methods and surveying will assist in defining the potential for new mineral, energy and groundwater resources by revealing geological and structural information.

These surveys are anticipated to be conducted at various locations across Australia.

GA requires successful respondents to meet or exceed the specifications listed in this Statement of Requirement. Geoscience Australia’s requirements are set out in more detail in Schedule 1.

Any deed entered into as a result of this RFT will be based on the Draft Deed of Standing Offer. However, Geoscience Australia may vary the terms and conditions (see clause 26).
