The Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) are a suite of performance measurement surveys that cover higher education from commencement to employment. Results from the surveys are published on a purpose built website at qilt.edu.au. To ensure the quality, robustness and timeliness of data, the QILT surveys and website are independently administered by a single contracted service provider. This procurement will select an administrator for the QILT surveys and website for the period 2017 to 2020. The successful contractor will administer the following survey elements:

 

  1. Student Experience Survey 2017, 2018 and 2019

  2. Graduate Outcomes Survey 2018, 2019 and 2020 (including the Course Experience Questionnaire and Postgraduate Research Experience Questionnaire)

  3. Graduate Outcomes Survey – Longitudinal 2018, 2019 and 2020

  4. Employer Satisfaction Survey 2018, 2019 and 2020

 

For each survey element, the contractor is responsible for survey design, sample preparation, response collection, data processing, analysis and reporting, and dissemination of results. It is expected that a total of over 300,000 responses will be collected each year across all surveys. A major national report is produced annually for each survey. In addition to survey elements, the contractor will host, maintain and update the QILT website over the contract period. This will include data updates twice per year, introduction of identified new website features, and a redesign of the website’s design and user interface.
