The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) seeks to partner with Australian academia and Defence industry to support its transition to becoming the world’s first fifth-generation air force. As part of growing this partnership, academia and industry are invited to attend an Air Force Operating Concept 2027 (AFOC27) briefing and discussion in Canberra on 15 September 2017. The AFOC27 conveys where and how the RAAF may need to adjust its present course to achieve the war fighting potency necessary in 2027.
What: Plan Jericho presentation and discussion of Air Force Operating Concept 2027 with industry.
Draft program is:
- 1300-1330: AFOC27 presentation
- 1330-1500: Break and participants reading AFOC27 document
- 1500-1600: Discussion
When: 15 Sep 17, 1230 for 1300-1600.
Where: R1 Ngunnawal Theatrette
Security: Minimum NV1 AUS/CAN/GBR/NZL/USA required to be able to attend.
Due to limited facility capacity organisational reps are limited to 2. This may be reduced to 1 depending on the level of interest to ensure a broad level of participation. Organisations should submit their nominees in priority order.
