Regulation Impact Statement: Assessment of the need for adult change facilities in Class 6 and 9b buildings.

The ABCB is seeking a suitable service provider to develop a Regulation Impact Statement (RIS) (Consultation RIS) on a proposal to include requirements in the National Construction Code for adult change facilities to be provided in Class 6 shopping centres and Class 9b assembly buildings.
The tenderer must be able to demonstrate relevant experience in the field of development of Regulation Impact Statements satisfying the 2007 Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Principles of Best Practice Guidelines.
1. The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).
2. The tenderer confirms that in dealing with its employees and independent contractors, the tenderer has due regard to Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, comply with Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, including the obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and relevant work health and safety laws.
3. The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender are not insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership.
The anticipated timeframe for the contract is October 2017 – January 2018, with a possible extension option of 3 months.
