The Clean Energy Advice Panel has been established for the provision of advice on renewable energy and low emissions energy policies, programs and projects administered primarily by the Clean Energy Division of the Department. This may include but not limited to:

economic research, modelling and advice relevant to the development of renewable energy and low emissions technologies in Australia;
financial, technical and commercial asessment of clean energy project proposals seeking government support;
financial and commercial advice on the design, operation and evaluation of clean energy programs; and
technical and engineering advice including advice on the state of play in research that relates to the range of clean energy technologies supported by the Department through the programs and measures that it administers.
