Description:

Joint Proof & Experimental Unit (JPEU) Port Wakefield (PW) requires to lease a hovercraft for 5 years, (with possible 5 x 1 year extensions), including ongoing maintenance, spares support & training to be provided at PW.

The hovercraft is to provide a capability to retrieve fired or deployed projectiles and test items within the designated Defence Prohibited Area (DPA) at PW.

Additionally, JPEU PW require a capability to patrol the DPA to intercept any personnel - fishers or crabbers - or boats that have entered the DPA whilst a Defence Practice is scheduled to occur.
