LAND2097 Phase 4 Special Operations Rotary Wing Capability Enhancement Program
This RFP is requesting innovative proposals for the delivery of a Capability Enhancement Program (CEP) to provide capability enhancement to the Special Operations Rotary Wing (SORW) Capability that is being sought through Request for Tender HSD/RFT/7300/1. The information obtained in this RFP will assist Government to identify effective mechanisms for the continuous improvement of the SORW Capability. Defence intends to conduct a two stage procurement process. This RFP constitutes the first stage of that process.
The purpose of the RFP is to assist the Commonwealth to:
a. understand the functionality that industry is able to provide;
b. identify one or multiple potential CEP Contractors with the capability and capacity to deliver the Requirement; and
c. to obtain information about approaches to delivering the Requirement, as well as an estimate of the effort and costs associated with the implementation of the CEP.
This RFP is related to, but separate from, the Request for Tender HSD/RFT/7300/1 for LAND2097 Phase 4 Special Operations Rotary Wing, which was released to market on 3 February 2020.
An online industry briefing will be conducted via GovTeams commencing at 10am Australian Capital Territory (ACT) local time on Thursday 13 August 2020, followed by one-on-one meetings via GovTeams at the request of respondent’s. Nominations to attend the briefing and/or one-on-one meetings are to be forwarded in writing to the Contact Officer specified in clause 2.5 of the COP by 5pm Australian Capital Territory (ACT) local time on Monday 10 August 2020. The following details are required:
a. respondent’s name and location; and
b. full name of respondent’s representatives and email addresses.
The Commonwealth may exclude a proposal from further consideration if the Commonwealth considers that the respondent does not comply with the:
a. Commonwealth’s security requirements set out in clause 2.6 and 2.7 of the Conditions of Proposal.
Respondents should be notified of the outcome of the RFP in November 2020.
