Dry Cleaning and Laundry Services

The Australian Antarctic Division (AAD), on behalf of the Department of the Environment and Energy, issue cold weather clothing to approximately 500 expeditioners each year. The majority of this clothing is returned to the AAD upon completion of each voyage, return of each flight or at the completion of the season and is required to be laundered or dry cleaned. The AAD also periodically require the laundering of laboratory protective wear, household linen and down garments and bedding.
The supply of Services is to be provided in accordance with the Statement of Requirement (SoR) in the ATM and subject to the terms and conditions set out in, or referred to, in ATM 18/2087 Dry Cleaning and Laundry Services. Neither the lowest nor any response may necessarily be accepted. The AAD reserves the right to abandon or terminate any aspect of the ATM at any stage if it is not in the public interest to proceed. Late responses will not be accepted and responses forwarded by facsimile or email will not be accepted. Potential Suppliers should note that the Draft Deed of Standing Offer is indicative of standard terms and conditions that will form the basis of a formal agreement only and any contractual arrangement with a preferred Supplier will be subject to change. The AAD reserves the right to consider alternative terms and conditions of contract.
It is anticipated that the Deed of Standing Offer will take effect from 1 August 2019
