Defence Housing Australia (the Customer) is seeking a suitably experienced Supplier to provide Security Services to all DHA offices nationally, in accordance with the Statement of Requirement.
The Customer will exclude from consideration any Suppliers that do not meet the following Mandatory Conditions for Participation:
a) Principals, employees and/or sub-contractors of the Tenderer must have the appropriate licence recognised within relevant operating Australian jurisdictions at the approach to market closing time as defined in A.A.1;
b) Principals, employees and/or sub-contractors of the Supplier must state that there is not any foreseeable changes in complying with the appropriate licence recognised within relevant operating Australian jurisdictions and the company/persons have the financial capability to deliver services in this Tender for the term of the contract, as defined in in A.A.1.
c) The Customer requires a quality service with focus on the management, delivery and the competency of the Security Guards. The Supplier must be able to demonstrate their ability to provide evidence at any time of –
i. The Supplier’s ability to satisfy the AS/NZS 4421 Guard and Patrol Security Services Standard;
ii. The Supplier ’s membership of a recognised security industry association; and
iii. Compliance with the Fair Work Principles
d) Suppliers by a joint venture must be submitted on the basis that one party will act as Prime Supplier and the other party will provide services as a subcontractor to the Prime Supplier. If this option is offered, the activities to be performed, and responsibility assumed, by each party, must be clearly specified in the submission.
The expected contract execution date is Tuesday, 30 November 2021.
The contract will remain in force for a period of three (3) years, with 3 x 12 month extension options
