The Department of Veterans Affairs and DSHIS is seeking the provision of After Hours Calls Services for the Defence Service Homes Insurance Scheme (DSHIS).
DSHIS is government-owned and is administered by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA). DSHIS is the only insurance scheme of its type offered by the Australian Government. It is a benefit that has been supported for 100 years. It is completely self-funded through premiums, investment returns and commission received from the sale of QBE insurance products. Today DSHIS provides home building insurance to over 50,000 eligible serving and ex-serving ADF personnel, veterans and their widows/widowers in a commercial environment and in competition with other insurers.

DSHIS staff attend to clients’ telephone calls during standard business hours nationally. The service required relates to Contractor telephone assistance. This RFT relates to national call answering services for after hours and overflow calls during business hours.
