The Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) is seeking to establish a panel of one or more suitably qualified and experienced organisations to gather medical information in an efficient and effective way to allow the timely and accurate determination of veteran compensation claims by DVA. This service will be accessed on an ‘as needed’ basis when the required medical assessment and information to support a veteran’s claim is unable to be accessed or provided through routine processes, such as via the veteran’s treating medical practitioner.

In delivering the required services it is expected that organisations will provide high quality services and ensure processes, practices and methods of engagement are based on, and are respectful of, the needs of veterans and their families.

The Services are to be undertaken within DVA’s relevant legislations, all which require decision making by departmental delegates, based on relevant evidence and information gathered.

The Department encourages tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations that have the capability to provide the specified Services and are aware of the unique needs of veterans and their families.

Tenderers should ensure all tender documentation is uploaded to the correct AusTender ATM ID.
