Description:

The successful Tenderer will be required to complete the conformance testing of their software product (as applicable) in accordance with the process specified in the Agency document “Electronic Prescribing – Conformance Assessment Scheme” and applicable sections of the Agency document “Electronic Prescribing Conformance Profile v3.0.

To achieve the “full” electronic prescribing functionality, software products will be required to:

Submit a project plan detailing how the Services will be undertaken;

•&nbspUndertake Healthcare Identifier (HI) conformance (CIS products ONLY);

•&nbspSuccessfully complete conformance testing of their software product(s);

•&nbspUpon successful completion of the Electronic Prescribing conformance process, as evidenced by a test report authored by an open Prescription Delivery Service provider (or the Agency, subject to written agreement by the Agency), submit a signed conformance declaration deed poll form to the Agency; and

•&nbspRelease the conformant software product to market as evidenced through beta testing.

Other Instructions:

Vendors will conform to the Agency’s latest Electronic Prescribing Conformance Profile which includes the requirements for software to achieve the full functionality for electronic prescribing. The technical framework and related artefacts are publicly available here:

Conditions for Participation:

Tenders are sought from organisations that:

•&nbspcan develop software for electronic prescribing functionality against the requirements of the Agency’s <span">Electronic Prescribing Conformance Profile version 3 (or otherwise as agreed with the Agency) and associated technical framework, and would expect to be able to declare conformance of their software against the Agency’s Electronic Prescribing Conformance Profile version 3 (or otherwise as agreed with the Agency).

•&nbspdid not participate in the Agency’s Fast-track (FT) Industry Offer procurement.

•&nbspare not government organisations or not-for-profit organisations that are predominately government funded.

•&nbspare not a Prescription Delivery Service (PDS) provider or an Active Script List (ASL) Registry.

•&nbspare not a veterinary CIS.
