Expression of Interest for the provision of bibliometric information for ERA 2023

The Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) is a national assessment program administered by the ARC. Its aim is to assess research quality within Australia's higher education institutions using a combination of indicators and expert review by committees comprising of experienced, internationally recognised experts.
The ERA program uses a range of indicators to support the evaluation of research excellence. ERA is an ongoing commitment from the Australian Government. The next ERA round will be conducted in 2023.
The ARC is inviting Expressions of Interest from suitable service providers to provide bibliometric information for specified research outputs suitable for citation analysis in ERA 2023 evaluation round.
In addition, service providers will be required to provide supporting services to participating Higher Education Providers (HEP) prior to the evaluation phase (submission period).
The ARC intends to procure the services to support the ERA process through two stages:
- Stage one – Expressions of Interest (this stage)
- Stage two – Request for Tender (RFT) open to shortlisted EOI Applicants selected for inclusion in future procurement
To participate in this EOI, the ARC will require that participants submit responses to the EOI in accordance to the criteria outlined in the attached EOI document; and complete, sign and return the required sections of the EOI document.
Responses to this EOI should be submitted on or before the Response Closing Time by 12th of November 2021 by 5:00pm ADST
