Managing Contractor for the Commonwealth Parliamentary Offices Melbourne Cabling Project

Government Network Services Branch (GNSB) within Finance is seeking Tenders from organisations with the capacity and capability to project manage the replacement of Finance’s aging MCN fibre optic cabling backbone and associated infrastructure located within CPO Melbourne and to deliver the project within time and on budget (Project).
This Project will replace Finance’s ageing MCN infrastructure and, if required by Finance, involve other minor works in the communications room. Particularly, the Project will involve supply and installation of the fibre optic cabling system and the intermediate distribution frames (IDF) and passive equipment, including the decommissioning and disposal of the old cabling and associated infrastructure.
An industry briefing will be held remotely via video conferencing on Friday, 18 December 2020 commencing at 10.00am local time in the Australian Capital Territory. Attendance at the industry briefing is optional. Tenderers are to provide written notice to the Contact Officer no later than 12.00pm on Thursday, 17 December 2020 setting out the names and contact details, including email addresses, for all persons who will be attending the industry briefing.
