Scrivener Dam Dissipator Strengthening Project - Detailed Design and associated works

The NCA is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced design consultancy to undertake and complete the detailed design of the Scrivener Dam Dissipator Strengthening Project in preparation for physical construction works.
This project will build upon the Concept Design, of which was undertaken in 2021.
The successful design consultancy will be required to undertake all detailed design for the dissipator strengthening and associated works as well detailed design for all enabling and temporary works (such as erosion control, coffer dam design and culvert design) that will be required to successfully undertake the project.
The NCA also requires the successful design consultancy to prepare P80 cost forecasts, assist in the preparation for and attendance at Public Works Committee (PWC) hearings.

There is a Industry Brief at 10.30am on Tuesday 9 August 2022 via Microsoft Teams. All respondents must provide details of attendees (name, email address and mobile phone number) to David.Wright@nca.gov.au by 2.00pm on 8 August 2022. A maximum of two attendees are permitted for each attending organisation.
The Scrivener Dam Dissipator Strengthening Concept Design Report will be provided to organisations following attendance at the Industry Brief.
Tenderers are permitted to submit questions and requests for clarification up until 5.00pm on Thursday 25 August 2022. Responses will be sent to all tenderers via an addendum. All questions and requests for clarification are to be sent to David.Wright@nca.gov.au
The successful design consultancy must demonstrate a strong track record and high levels of skills and experience in undertaking the detailed design of dams and/or other related hydraulic structures, as well as the design of associated enabling and temporary works.
The successful design consultancy will also need experience in providing accurate P80 cost forecasts for approvals and finance applications.
It is preferrable that the successful design agency has experience in assisting with PWC preparation.
Tendering organisations must attend a mandatory Industry Briefing.
A complete tender must be provided by close of the tender period. Late tenders will not be considered.
