HPV Surveillance and Monitoring Plan Reporting Project 2023-25
The Australian Government has significantly invested in programs to prevent HPV infection and related diseases through fully funded comprehensive national vaccination, sexual health promotion and ensuring early detection and management of HPV-related disease through programs such as the National Cervical Screening Program.
With the broad range of programs and research that support on-going national HPV related policy, it is key that routine reporting and consolidated evidence that monitor outcomes related to HPV infection are made available to the Australian Government to inform national policy and build on investment. Reporting against the Plan will identify data gaps and opportunities to leverage and enhance existing surveillance and monitoring activities.
- Requirements of the project are to:develop a report against the indicators and objectives in the Plan utilising the data sources listed.
- review the Plan and make recommended amendments to existing surveillance objectives and indicators to reflect changes in national policy and research as required.
