Financial Statement Audit
The ANAO is seeking the services of suitably qualified and accredited organisations for provision of services for the audit of the financial statements of Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicine Authority.
A detailed statement of the required services (Services) is contained in Schedule 1 – Statement of Requirement of this RFT.
Tenderers are reminded of the requirements relating to auditor appointment, independence and rotation in Part 2M.4 of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (Corporations Act), when the audit is of a Corporations Act body.
Tenderers will be assessed against the Conditions For Participation on a pass/fail basis. If a Tenderer fails to meet any of the Conditions For Participation, its Tender will be rejected and will not be further assessed against the Evaluation Criteria.
The Conditions for Participation are set out in cluase 12 of the RFT as follows:
1. The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).
2. The tenderer confirms that in dealing with its employees and independent contractors, the tenderer has due regard to Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, comply with Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, including the obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and relevant work health and safety laws.
3. Identity And Financial Situation of Tenderer:
At the time of providing a Tender response and at all times during the Tender Evaluation Process the Tenderer must be a registered company auditor (as defined in the Corporations Act), and must not be insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership.
The anticipated timeframe for the contract is three years with one option to extend for a period of 36 months.
