CASE REVIEW SERVICES FOR NAURU & PNG
The case review services component will be focussed on delivering high quality medical specialist review of the medical status of the patient and records to develop a Case Review Report for the Department. The Case Review Reports must reflect the clinical opinion and recommendations to the Department.
The Case Review Services Provider will also be required to provide medical specialist deployment capability for the provision of specialist treatment primarily in PNG and Nauru. These deployments will occur on a case-by-case basis and require Departmental approval prior to activation.
In the event of a medical specialist deployment, the Case Review Services Provider must maintain (or where applicable, be seeking to obtain) all relevant certifications and have in place suitable insurances for their personnel to practice at the Preferred Hospitals in PNG and Nauru, as well as the recognition of appropriate quality assurance and clinical governance frameworks.
The Case Review Services Provider will be required to work closely with a number of stakeholders and must work collaboratively with the Host Country Government, primary Health Services providers, other service providers and the Department, to deliver the Services
