The National Capital Authority (NCA) is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to provide contract administration and project management services for Lake Burley Griffin and Scrivener Dam. These Services include but are not limited to the following:

1. Assist with the implementation of the National Capital Authority's maintenance, operations and works programs for Lake Burley Griffin and Scrivener Dam.

2. Contract management of lake operations contracts and project management of construction contracts for lake infrastructure.

3. Implement the water quality program for Lake Burley Griffin in accordance with the ACT Guidelines for Recreational Water Quality and provide advice to the community.

4. Support the administration and development of the NCA's asset management system and contribute to business improvement.

5. Develop and maintain effective and productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government departments, sporting organisations, Lake User groups, consultants and contractors.

6. Provide input in the development of short and long-term strategic work plans and preparation of budgets, briefs and reports to support Estate Management functions.

7. Participate as a constructive member of the Estate Management Team at the NCA and provide reasonable support with Branch functions as required.

The contracted period commences on 10 October 2022 and will conclude on 30 June 2023. There will be one option for extension of up to 12 months at the discretion of NCA.

The Service Provider will work for the NCA up to four days per week (32 hours per week). The Service Provider will be required to work at the NCA Offices (Treasury Building, Parkes ACT 2600) up to three day per week (24 hours maximum), between the hours of 9am and 5pm.

·         Public Liability Insurance $20 million, Professional Indemnity $1 million and Works Compensation as required by law, or the ability to obtain.

·         A current, or ability to obtain, baseline security and passed police check; and

·         A current, or ability to obtain, Asbestos Awareness and General Construction Induction (White Card) qualifications.
