Defence Housing Australia (DHA) invites responses to this invitation to Tender for the provision of Head Contractor - Design and Construction of 6 Terrace Houses, Middle Essex Way, Victoria Barracks, Paddington NSW to be carried out in accordance with these Conditions of Tender.

1. At time of work commencement, site team has current Defence Common Access Cards (DCAC);
Note: The process of obtaining a DCAC for foreign nationals is more stringent and may take several weeks to acquire.
2. The Tender and any sub-contractors proposed in the tender must not be named as uncompliant with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth);
3. Tenderer is accredited with Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme;
4. The Tender is to have:
i) indistry recognised WHS accreditations or certifications & WHS systems in place;
ii) no poor WHS performance assessments on projects; and
iii) proven track record of safe work practices.
DHA anticipates contract commencment in July 2022
DHA anticipates practical completion will be achieved November 2023.
