The Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) is seeking a secure managed service delivering connectivity from its office at 3/175 Pitt Street Sydney to the Sydney instance of Microsoft Azure for the purpose of utilising Azure Site Recovery, Office 365, Exchange Online, Skype for Business (initially on premise but moving to the cloud when PSTN in the cloud available). Note that in compliance with the Australian Government Information Security Manual the solution is to remain within Australia. Our data is not to be offshored at any point.
We are a single site with no current WAN infrastructure and an existing 70 Mbps (symmetric) internet connection.
We are looking for a partner to setup and manage Microsoft cloud connectivity on our behalf including making arrangements with Data Centres such as NEXTDC, Equinix and Megaport (others if available) and configuring and managing access to Azure Public, Azure Private and Microsoft Peering.
Internet Connection
The Commission requires a new Internet connection. The new service should be at least 400 Mbps (symmetric) unlimited service. 1:1 contention. 99.95% or better SLA.
Our web site is independently hosted and therefore has no impact on the traffic patterns (apart from internal access to the external website).
Public IP subnet required:
1 x /27
IPv6 support (not currently deployed, Commission and OAIC have IPv6 assignments for future use)
Internet router with 3 x gigabit Ethernet interfaces
Web portal showing usage statistics, total data in/out, bandwidth utilisation in/out etc.
Management of Internet router – including IOS updates
Retain ability to make router configuration changes when required after liaising with service desk.
The Commission may, at its discretion, seek clarification of proposals after quotes are opened.
Non-compliant quotes will not be considered.
Quotes are to be submitted via Austender, prior to 9am on 26th April 2016. Quotes must not be submitted by email. Quotes not using the provided respondent form will not be considered. Respondents are also required to agree to comply with the terms and conditions of the SourceIT Contract as attached.
