The Provision of a SafeSport Hotline to facilitate the reporting of sport integrity issues.
Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Darwin, Hobart
Provide support for callers to the existing dedicated 1800 number between the hours of 7am – 7pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year;
Provide a call back service within 30 minutes where a call is unanswered between 7am – 7pm or within the first six hours of the next working day where a call is unanswered outside operating hours;
Use staff with relevant qualifications and experience in engaging with callers impacted by trauma;
Use staff who hold a current Police check and a Working With Children / Vulnerable People accreditation, and have, or have the ability to obtain, a minimum Baseline level security clearance;
Refer critical / high-risk matters to the relevant law enforcement agencies and/or child protection agencies
Refer callers to specialist support services where necessary. This could include crisis/wellbeing support services or referral to particular line areas within Sport Integrity Australia;
Provide call information directly to Sport Integrity Australia, through the Sport Integrity Australia online reporting form;
There are no conditions for participation.
For an initial term of 12 months from date of contract with an option to extend for up to 2 years.
