Rapid Analysis Missile Modelling and Simulation (RAMMS) Capability Upgrade Project
The Defence Intelligence Organisation (DIO) within the Department of Defence has a requirement to conduct rapid modelling and simulation analysis of foreign missile threats to support intelligence assessments. DIO currently uses a desktop software tool which provides a ballistic missile analysis capability, however DIO is seeking to enhance this capability to provide analysis of advanced missile threats. Accordingly DIO is exploring options to either upgrade the existing software tool or replace the tool. A full lifecycle approach for the acquisition and sustainment is sought and is likely to require a staged capability development and implementation approach. To deliver this enhanced modelling and simulation capability, the Rapid Analysis Missile Modelling and Simulation (RAMMS) project has been established within DIO.
Procurement options to deliver and sustain a software tool, or set of tools, are under consideration. In order to better inform a commercial procurement option, a future Request For Information is intended to provide a 'market sounding'.
The purpose of this Notice is to seek responses from interested parties who would like to receive a Request For Information for the Rapid Analysis Missile Modelling and Simulation (RAMMS) capability upgrade project.
