Design Management, Concept Design and Cost Planning for the Nuclear Medicine Manufacturing Facility Project Phase 1
The Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) is Australia’s national nuclear research and development organisation and the centre of Australian nuclear expertise. ANSTO is responsible for delivering specialised advice, scientific services and products to government, industry, academia and other research organisations. In particular, a central part of ANSTO’s mission is to research, manufacture and advance the use of radiopharmaceuticals which will improve the health of Australians.
One of ANSTO's core missions, as a Federal Government corporate Commonwealth entity, is to manufacture and advance the use of radiopharmaceuticals which will improve the health of Australians. This is undertaken by the ANSTO Health division.
This Tender Specification (Specification) is for the appointment of a Principal Consultant (Consultant) to provide the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) with a concept design and cost planning for a new ‘state-of the art’ radiopharmaceutical and nuclear medicine manufacture and production facility (Nuclear Medicine Facility) to replace its current nuclear medicine manufacture and production facility (Building 23 Facility).
In this context, ANSTO is seeking a Consultant to provide:
• The concept design for the Nuclear Medicine Facility based on ANSTO’s requirements and working closely with ANSTO Subject Matter Experts
• The costing and schedule for the concept design and options.
• An associated Risks and Risk Models to inform contingency requirements on the concept design, costing and schedule.
• Preparation of documentation consistent with the requirements for submission to Government.
