Request for Tender-Head Contract–EST06796–Anglesea Paterson Project–Works Package 1–Anglesea Barracks Component, Hobart
The Services comprise construction services with respect to the following works:
Stage 1: In-Ground Services Infrastructure and External Works
The remediation and replacement of existing engineering services at Anglesea Barracks to address existing non-compliances and sustain operations until the next Anglesea Barracks redevelopment, including:
• Surface Water Catchment
• Stormwater Services
• Fire Services
• Electrical Services
• Potable Water Services
• Sewage Network
• Communications
• Landscaping
• External Works
Stage 2: Refurbishment Works for Buildings A0039, A0047, A0078/79, A0073 and A0083
The refurbishment of Buildings A0039, A0047, A0073, A0078/79 and A0083 within Anglesea Barracks to provide safe, functional and compliant facilities for sustained use by building users. All facilities are heritage listed and hold considerable historical value to the Commonwealth. The works to be delivered under Stage 2 have been fully documented and designed and address heritage management requirements in accordance with the Anglesea Barracks Heritage Management Plan.
Stage 3: Construction of New Facility A0208 -1800 Defence Call Centre
The construction of a new 1800 Defence Call Centre (Building A0208), which once completed will be formally named ‘The McGee Building’. Building A0208 will provide a purpose-built facility to house Australian Public Service (APS) personnel to carry out phone-based customer service for the whole of Defence.

Building Code 2016
The Building Code 2016 applies. If the Building Code 2016 applies then by lodging a Tender, the Tenderer will become subject to the Building Code 2016.

WHS Accreditation Scheme
The WHS Accreditation Scheme pursuant to the Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 (Cth) applies. Further information regarding the WHS Accreditation Scheme is provided in the Tender Documents.
Indigenous Procurement Policy

Joint Bids

PWC Act
The Works described in the Tender Documents are a "public work" and therefore subject to section 18 of the Public Works Committee Act 1969 (Cth).
