Description:

The anticipated functional scope of the Future Compute Request for Tender (RFT) will provide the Department of Home Affairs with the following services:

Managed services to support the delivery of mainframe
Managed services to support the delivery of midrange (Unix/Linux/Windows)
Managed services to support the delivery of data storage for the mainframe and midrange platforms
Ancillary services
Optional
- hardware requirements including mid-range and storage
- software products

The RFT pack will contain a detailed statement of work for the above services, and potential tenderers can request access to a virtual data room for supporting documentation to support their tender response.

An industry briefing will be presented to prospective tenderers approximately two weeks after tender release, details will provided in the RFT documents.
