Roofing and Construction Works at Various Shoalhaven Sites
This project includes roof rectification, replacement and new facilities construction at various locations.
The works include the following:
Roofing works at HMAS Albatross include removal of the existing skylights/ventilators and installation of new roofing iron, gutters and down pipes, insulation and ventilation system.
Roofing Works at HMAS Creswell include removal of existing roof, minor repairs to existing trusses, eaves, fascia and valley boards, supply and install battens to the existing rafters and supply and install new roof tiles.
Other works at HMAS Creswell include excavation and civil shaping of overland water flow paths, stabilising compacting road base, undertaking civil structural and works relating to construction of a fit for purpose building and supply install Furniture Fittings and Equipment as shown on drawings.

The scopes of works and associated documents have not been attached. To obtain the full scope of works documentation, tenderers are to submit a signed Confidentiality Agreement as follows:

Tenderers are to note that without the Confidentiality Agreement being returned to the Contact Officer / PDS Contractor, the complete Scope of Works cannot be released.

Visiting: HMAS Albatross and HMAS Creswell

Description for Industry Briefing:
Allow 5 hours (plan to finish by 2:00 pm). Tenderers are to meet at the Fleet Air Arm Museum (200m away from HMAS Albatross). We will walk as a group to collect passes.
The site visit will include visiting HMAS Albatross Parachute Training School. We will then drive (via bus) to HMAS Creswell for an inspection of various assets.
Tenderers are to have read (and hold) the Visitors Guide for HMAS Albatross, HMAS Creswell and Jervis Bay Airfield.
Bring Government issued photo ID (ie drivers licence, passport), wear appropriate foot wear, and neat attire.
Tenderers are to register their attendance with the Contact Officer 48 hours prior to the site visit (please provide name, company name and mobile number for individuals who wish to attend). Maximum 2 persons per company.
Please note this will be the only site visit available during the tender period, no second visits will be provided.
The Tenderer must at the time of submitting its Tender satisfy each condition for participation as follows:
- The Tenderer must complete and return the Confidentiality Agreement.
- The Tenderer must comply with the Building Code 2013 at the time of submitting its registration of interest or if no registration of interest was submitted, at the time of submitting its tender.
- The Tenderer must not be precluded from tendering for Australian Government funded work or specifically excluded from participating in this tender process.
