Interpreting services for the following circumstances:
At interviews and meetings between DIBP (or other Government) officers and non English speaking persons, in particular IMA and onshore refugee interviews;
At medical examinations arranged by DIBP for non-English speaking persons;
In any other circumstances as DIBP may require from time to time in accordance with its operational needs in both Australian and offshore centres;
Sight translating services in the Required Languages. Being the task of reading out a document written in a language different from the spoken translation, and;
Interpreter escort services. Being the task of accompanying and assisting a non-English speaking person in the company of a DIBP officer or such other Government official on a journey within Australia. The service will involve the ad hoc interpreting for the non-English speaking person during the course of the journey. This may include journeys to and from offshore processing centres such as Manus Island, Nauru and Christmas Island and other locations within Australia.
