Consultant for Civil Structural Engineering Design Services - AIMS Townsville 2024 - 2027
The Austrailian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS) has developed a capital works programme at Cape Cleveland and at the AIMS Vessel Berthing Facility at the Port of Townsville to support its continued growth and expansion associated with the ongoing research demands and resilience of the institute. This capital works program is driven by AIMS mission statement, strategy 20230, our science reseach plan and the AIMS's business plan.
The purpose of this request for tender (RFT) is to seek a Consultant for Civil Structural Engineering who will:
- Review and update selected existing design documentation given some of the available design documentation does not reflect existing conditions.
- Assist in the development of a site masterplan incorporating the requirements of the various projects (inclusive of the concept design outputs) together with providing specific advice as to the site services infrastructure requirements and implications of the planned developments.
- Develop concept designs and provision of the concept design deliverables specific to the building services and site services infrastructure on the nominated projects (these concept design deliverables will be used to inform funding business cases)
- Develop detailed design and for construction documention as per the requirments of this brief on the nominated projects that are presently approved to progress into detailed design.
- Provide construction phase support on the projects as presently approved to progress into construction.
