Description:

Airservices is seeking industry feedback on proposed Flight Information Management System (FIMS) requirements and functionality necessary to enable and ensure lawful UAS and UAM operations, mitigate a range of risks and community impacts, and to ensure efficiency and the fair and competitive access to Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Traffic Management (UTM) airspace. Through this RFI, subsequent prototype development, and in-field trials, Airservices will better understand vendor capability to deliver a future operational FIMS solution. This RFI is an initial stage of work in progress and Airservices recognises the FIMS concept will continue to mature and evolve through ongoing industry and government stakeholder consultation and collaboration.
