IPS Culgoora Generator
The Bureau of Meteorology through it's Ionospheric Prediction Service is currently planning to replace the external backup generator; works will comprise of a new slab, meter cubicle, changeover switchboard within the building, and associated electrical works at our Solar Observatory in Culgoora NSW.
The Generator will be Principal supplied to be Installed by the Contractor.
The Bureau is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified contractors to undertake the works associated with the infrastructure upgrade.
The National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry, in conjunction with the Australian Government Implementation Guidelines for the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry, August 2009, apply to this project. Written evidence from the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations must be submitted with the application.
Submissions must address the following criteria in order to be considered for tender:
- General construction capability, and major electrical works
- Experience in project delivery
- Financial capability
- Quality management system
- Occupational Health and Safety Management System
- Key personnel with relevant experience
- Letter of compliance with the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry( 2009)
