Respondents may tender for some or all of the three research projects described below. Respondents must address each aspect of the research projects that they intend to tender for, and provide a detailed description of their proposal to supply the Requirement, including a draft project plan setting out the potential timing for key steps, and the proposed research methodology.

  • Project 1: Data analysis on breast cancer screening behaviour and outcomes. The Supplier will undertake data analysis on Australian breast cancer screening behaviour and clinical outcomes for women in the 75+ age group

 

  • Project 2: Qualitative research on screening motivations and behaviour

The Supplier will undertake qualitative research to investigate screening motivations and behaviour for Australian women 75+ who are actively participating in the program, as well as for those not participating in the program

 

  • Project 3: Research on the participation impact on women aged 75+ of the 2014 expansion of BreastScreen Australia to actively target women aged up to 74 years

The Supplier will undertake data analysis on the participation impact on women aged 75+ of the 2014 expansion of BreastScreen Australia to actively target women aged up to 74 years

 

:
  1. The Response must be in English and measurements must be expressed in Australian legal units of measurement.
  2. The Response must be submitted using the ATM Response Form. Supplementary information may be supplied as attachments.
  3. Potential Suppliers must demonstrate a strong suite of publications in peer reviewed journals with a high impact factor. Responses must provide a list of relevant publications that demonstrate this Mandatory Condition, which may be supplied as an attachment to the Response Form.
  4. The Response must clearly specify whether the Potential Supplier intends to undertake one or more of the three research projects described in the Requirement, and specify which projects.
  5. Applicants for Project 1 and Project 3 must have appropriate academic qualifications and experience in analysing large sets of Australian population health data.
  6. Applicants for Project 2 must have appropriate academic qualifications and experience in working with women on sensitive topics.
