Defence Airfields - Notice - ECIHC RAAF Base Townsville
Potential tenderers are advised that the procurement strategy for the EST06163 - P0012, P0006 & R7096 National Airfield Maintenance Works Project - RAAF Base Townsville involves the early the engagement of an Early Contractor Involvement - Head Contractor (ECI HC) for the Planning Phase.
The ECI HC is expected to provide buildability, constructability, programming, staging and risk mitigation advice during the Planning Phase and subsequently deliver the works in the Delivery Phase, subject to Departmental, Government and Parliamentary Approvals.
Contractors will be required to demonstrate their capacity to deliver large scale airfield maintenance works as part of the Request for Tender response; for example, asphalt resurfacing and concrete reconstruction of airfield pavement, Aeronautical Ground Lighting and pavement drainage.
