Flood and Bushfire Extents to Support Emergency Management Decision Making
Geoscience Australia is seeking a suitably qualified supplier to provide solutions for national hazard extent and impact information services for use by Commonwealth, state and territory government emergency management and recovery agencies. Hazards of interest for this procurement are limited to flood and bushfire.
Geoscience Australia is seeking solutions that deliver flood and bushfire extents and associated metrics such burn-severity and maximum flood depth. Solution should be cost-effective, are timely, provide national coverage with consistent quality (includes continental Australia, Tasmania, Christmas Island, Cocos Island and Norfolk Island), support multiple concurrent and geographically disparate events and enable sharing of information with other government agencies, individuals and potentially the public.
