Request for Information Census Digital Service development and support services leading up to and during the 2026 Census
The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is exploring options for future engagement of one or more organisations to provide end-to-end services to update the existing ABS Census Digital Service (CDS) platform and support its deployment and operation during the 2026 Census.
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to improve the likelihood of the ABS and any future supplier/s having a successful, efficient, and mutually beneficial engagement. ABS is also seeking to reduce the risks and therefore costs by ensuring the scope and expectations are clear and concise, and that it is feasible for the services to be delivered in a manner that represents value for money.
The ABS is seeking to better understand the market and the views of potential suppliers in regard to CDS support services, and to provide the opportunity for the ABS to adjust the scope, requirements, or approach to market to attract responses from the most capable suppliers.
