Australia will host the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit in March 2024 to mark the 50th anniversary of Australia becoming ASEAN's first Dialogue Partner. The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet requires a service provider for the provision of Simultaneous Intepretation Services.
The Services required for The Summit include, but not limited to:
- provision of highly trained, suitably qualified and professional interpreters to provide simultaneous interpretation services for the Summit, including transposing messages accurately while being aware of the language and cultural nuances of the speaker whose language is being interpreted; and
- project management services.
The Services are required to provide simultaneous interpretation of meetings for the Summit in up to 9 languages.
