Provision of verification testing (check testing) of electrical and gas products registered under the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (GEMS) Act 2012

Conditions for Participation:

The tenderer must be accredited, or provide evidence that they are in the process of obtaining accreditation, to test one or more of the GEMS products listed at Attachment 13 by either:

• The National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA); or

• an accreditation body, other than NATA, that is a signatory to either:

- the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC) Mutual Recognition Arrangement; or

- the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) Mutual Recognition Arrangement

Timeframe for Delivery:

The deed is anticipated to commence from 1 October 2023 and conclude on 31 August 2026.

A one-year extension option will be incorporated into the deed, to be exercised at the Department's discretion.
