An Evaluation Committee comprising representatives of the Memorial and engaged consultants will evaluate Responses on the basis of the evaluation criteria set out in Attachment B – Evaluation Process and Criteria.

Description:

On 1 November 2018 the Australian Government has approved the Australian War Memorial (‘Memorial’) Redevelopment Project (the Project) with funding of $498.7 million over a nine year period commencing in 2019/20.

This Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI) invites organisations to provide a Response for evaluation, with selected Respondents being invited to submit a Tender for the proposed contract (s) for public realm design services for the Project.

The selected public realm consultant will provide all options development and analysis, design, contractor procurement support and construction advice services for all design elements categorised as being within public realm design discipline.

The public realm consultant will deliver all planning and design for the public realm outcomes within the limitations provided and in collaboration with the other consultants.

Other Instructions:

An industry briefing shall be held on 8 October 2019. The duration will be approximately one hour.

Registered Respondents shall pre-register their attendance at the industry briefing by emailing tenders@awm.gov.au no later than 9am, Tuesday 8 October 2019. Attendance at the industry briefing will be at the Registered Respondent’s own cost. Attendance at the industry briefing is not compulsory.

There are no conditions for participation for this REOI.

An indicative timetable for the REOI process is set out in section 2.5 (Procurement Timeframe Estimate) of the REOI.
