Description:

As part of the Australian Government’s commitment to strengthen the apprenticeship system, improve completion rates and increase the diversity of the apprentice workforce, the design of the future Australian Apprenticeship Support Services is being finalised following extensive stakeholder consultation. This includes recent feedback to the Future Directions for Australian Apprenticeship Support Services Consultation Paper.

To provide enhanced individual and employer support to future Australian Apprenticeships, the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations will release a Request for Tender in the second half of 2023 seeking organisations to provide services to Australian Apprenticeships from 1 July 2024.

The department encourages interested organisations to register on and monitor AusTender as well as the department’s Employment Services Tenders website (tenders.employment.gov.au).
