Communications services are required by the Department of Industry, Science and Resources (the department) to deliver an Integrated Communications Strategy for the Prime Minister’s Prizes for Science. The purpose is to generate a high level of awareness and engagement in Prizes and its recipients’ achievements and increase nominations, especially of women and those in underrepresented groups, across all categories. The strategy is to include media, social media, digital, and stakeholder engagement.

In addition, film, production and post-production services are required by the department to provide engaging content for the Integrated Communications Strategy and other content for the Prime Minister’s Prizes for Science event.

The procurement is set out in two tasks:

Task 1: Communications Services

Design, implement, and evaluate an Integrated Communications Strategy for the Prizes.

Task 2: Film, production, and post-production services

Deliver high quality film, production, and post-production services for the Prizes.

Tenderers can submit a response to one of the tasks, or both. The tenderer is to clearly state which task/s they are responding to and provide any discounts/cost savings (if any) if responding to both tasks.

Services are required for the 2023 Prizes event and 2024 nominations period.

The contract with the successful tenderer will include an option to extend for 2 years.

:

A response to the Evaluation Criteria is required for Task 1 and Task 2.

If a Tenderer is choosing to submit a tender for one of the tasks, it only addresses the Evaluation Criteria for that task.

If the Tenderer is submitting a tender for both tasks, it will need to address the Evaluation Criteria for each task.
