Description:

17th Construction Squadron is a sub unit of 6th Engineer Support Regiment and is currently located in Holsworthy Barracks, Sydney, NSW.

The Squadron is required to relocate from its current location to RAAF Base Amberley in Queensland.

The Design Services will be required to develop suitable facilities to enable 17th Construction Squadron to operate at its intended capacity.

The National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry and the Australian Government Implementation Guidelines for the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry, August 2009 apply to this project.

The Project is proposed to start construction in December 2011 and complete construction by December 2013.

The Australian Government Fair Work Principles apply to this project.

The Indigenous Oppertunities Policy applies to this contract.

The Project will be conducting an Industry Brief on 15 November 2011 at RAAF Base Amberley to companies who have registered with the Tender Administrator. Invitations will be given once the company has satisfied registration particulars with the Tender Administrator.

The Tender must be submitted in accordance with clause 3.1(a) (including submission to the address specified in the Tender Documents by closing Time and Date described in the Tender Documents);

The Tender must satisfy each minimum form and content requirement in clause 3.1(b); and

The Tenderer must satisfy each condition for participation in clause 3.1 (c)
