RAAF Base Pearce - Additional Works

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified entities to undertake the role of Head Contractor for the project at RAAF Base Pearce, Bullsbrook, Western Australia on the basis described in the Tender Documents.
At the time of issuing the Tender Documents, the Works include the following:
i). Office accommodation for 79 Squadron Headquarters;
ii). Base Perimeter Fence Upgrade; and
iii). Demolition Works.
Copies of the Tender documents will be available from Friday, 22 July 2011.
A mandatory Industry Briefing will be held on Tuesday 09 August 2011. In order to attend this meeting arrangements must be made with the Tender Administrator prior to that date.
To submit a conforming Tender:
· Tender must be submitted in accordance with clause 3.1(a) (including submission to the address specified in the Tender Documents by the Closing Time and Date described in the Tender Documents);
· the Tender must satisfy each minimum form and content requirement in clause 3.1(b); and
· the Tenderer must satisfy each condition for participation in clause 3.1(c),
of the Tender Conditions, set out in the Tender Documents. The evaluation criteria are described in clause 4 of the Tender Conditions, set out in the Tender Documents. Further information, including Tender Documents, are available from the Contact person.
The National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry and the Australian Government Implementation Guidelines for the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry August 2009, apply to this project.
The Australian Government Fair Work Principles apply to this procurement.
The Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme authorised by the Building and Construction Industry Improvement Act 2005 (Cth) and the Building and Construction Industry Improvement (Accreditation Scheme) Regulations 2005 (Cth) applies to this contract.
The Indigenous Opportunities Policy applies to this contract.
The Works are anticipated to commence in mid September 2011 with completion on or before September 2012.
