Provision of Deeper Maintenance of Klowa Bell 206B-1 Aircraft, Componenets and Accessories
The Department of Defence is seeking to enter into a contract with a contractor to provide deeper maintenance of Kiowa Bell 206B-1 Aircraft, Components and Accessories for the Kiowa helicopter fleet.
Subject to successful completion of this tender process, the proposed contract is scheduled to commence 1 July 2010, and will be for an initial period of five (5) years, with five potential further extension periods of an additional one (1) year each
The Commonwealth may exclude a tender from further consideration if the Commonwealth considers that the tender does not comply with an essential requirement identified below:
1. Assessment by the Commonwealth that the tenderer will be unable to attain Authorised Maintenance Organisation status within six months of the Effective Date;
2. Assessment by the Commonwealth that the tenderer will be unable to attain Authorised Engineering Organisation status within six months of the effective date; or
3. Assessment by the Commonwealth that the tenderer will be unable to unable to obtain the Security Clearances for personnel
