The AIS Arena (Building #7) is a facility over forty years old and has operated as the Territory’s major indoor event venue since the 1990’s. Over time, the condition of the Arena has deteriorated and in 2020 the ASC made the decision to close the Arena. The Arena requires significant refurbishment before it can be re-opened for public use.

The main purpose of this project is to allow the AIS Arena to be re-opened for public events of mixed genre (sporting events, concerts, dinners and trade events) by the end of January 2024. The MC will be responsible for the project delivery in a design and construction context.

Interested tenderers are advised that the procurement strategy for the project involves the engagement of a Design and Construct Head Contractor under an amended AS4916 Managing Contractor contract.

Potential supppliers are required to submit the registration form available on the ASC website to receive Request for Tender (RFT) documentation associated with this approach to market. Please follow the link to the ASC Tender Registration Page

Please note, this RFT follows the ASC AusTender Notice (Notice - RFQ 23/354) published on 7 March 2023.
